Trio Glossia is a bold new jazz trio emerging from North Texas, drawing from the full spectrum of post-bop, free improvisation, and beyond. Blurring the lines between composition and spontaneity, their music is both intellectually stimulating and viscerally exciting—cerebral yet charged with raw, infectious energy.

Comprised of Stefan Gonzalez (drums, vibraphone), Joshua Miller (drums, saxophone), and Matthew Frerck (bass), Trio Glossia is a testament to jazz’s enduring spirit—fresh, brash, eclectic, and rebellious. Their debut single, the cheekily titled Nerdy Dirty Talk, bursts forth with an impish, uncontainable energy—like a mischievous sprite too slick for convention, too chaotic for the mundane. With an insistent pulse and a fearless, pan-chromatic melodicism, they swing hard and sing with joy, daring even the most hardened cynic to crack a smile.

Trio Glossia doesn’t just pay homage to the greats—they seize the moment, carving out a space entirely their own. Whether you’re savoring a fine cognac or stomping your feet on the dancefloor, this is music that demands engagement. So lean in, let go, and embrace Trio Glossia.

“Trio Glossia’s debut is a powerful statement: energetic, direct, and defiant—an ideal weapon to combat the heralds of the deepest human darkness.” Jazz.pt
