Austin-based improvisers Lisa Cameron (drums/percussion), Henna Chou (cello/electronics), and Joshua Thomson (alto saxophone) form a dynamic new trio exploring the intersections of free improvisation, electroacoustic textures, and expansive sonic landscapes. Drawing from deep roots in experimental music, their collaboration is an ever-evolving conversation, where propulsive rhythms, extended techniques, and electronic manipulations converge in unpredictable and immersive ways. With Cameron’s textural percussion, Chou’s atmospheric cello and electronic treatments, and Thompson’s expressive saxophone, the trio crafts spontaneous compositions that blur the lines between structure and abstraction, creating music that is both visceral and haunting.

For their festival performance they will be joined by the wonderful Karen Ng.
