I am a self-taught artist and musician, graduated from Austin Community College with a degree in Accounting. I have worked for the IRS for years but have always longed to make art and music.

I try to invoke anxiety in my work. I use charcoal and newsprint to build texture and I work fast to blend acrylic paint the way a pastel drawing might be made. I love speed that creates drips and splatters, trying to communicate a sense of urgency.
