Bushman’s Revenge – comprised of guitarist Even Helte Hermansen, bassist Rune Nergaard, and drummer Gard Nilssen – has an established reputation as an internationally recognized band that mixes the energy of rock with the freedom of jazz in the most exciting and exhilarating ways. During its 13-year existence, the group has released nine albums on the respected Norwegian record label Rune Grammofon; Jiterbug and A Litle Bit of Big Bonanza were record of the month selections in Stereophile, and both albums were also awarded record of the week in Norway’s biggest jazz magazine, Jazznyt. They’ve also played the biggest and most respected festivals in Norway, including Øyafestvalen, Molde Internatonal Jazz Festval, Oslo Jazzfestval, and Kongsberg Jazz Festival.
